About me

Hi, my name is Dominik Wilde, I'm 20 years old, from England and ever since I was little, I've loved motorsport. One of my stand out memories is of a certain Michael Schumacher racing around Monte Carlo with Murray Walker commentating. I'll never forget that. I'm interested in all forms of motor racing, if it has 4 wheels and an engine, it's perfect for me! This blog is the start of something I hope to be a lot bigger one day as my big ambition in life is to get a job in motorsport media, whether that be with a magazine, newspaper, website or even a team. It's a tough world, but I'm motivated to achieve my aim.

I've been lucky enough to meet several great motorsport personalities from many different areas of the sport such as David Coulthard, Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, John Surtees, Petter Solberg, Allan McNish, Damon Hill, Martin Brundle, Tom Kristensen, Sebastien Ogier, Robert Kubica, Mark Webber, Nick Heidfeld, Jos Verstappen, Mika Salo, Alex Wurz, Ken Block, Rhys Millen...the list goes on. I've also attended several events such as WRC Wales Rally GB, Autosport International, Formula 3, BTCC, British GT, Ferrari Racing Days, Red Bull Global Rallycross, Formula One, FIA World Endurance Championship, demontrations and more.

2014 is set to be my busiest year yet with Autosport International and Top Gear Live in Glasgow to kick things off in January, then the North West Stages rally, BTCC Media Day, FIA WEC Silverstone, British GT and BTCC at Oulton Park, two days of FIA Formula E testing at Donington, Formula One testing and Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone, Wales Rally GB as well my first overseas event: Red Bull Global Rallycross at Daytona.

If you have any suggestions or questions, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll do my best to reply to every email and I greatly welcome feedback and constructive criticism.

If you would like to contact me, either tweet me or email me (please use the topic BLOG for any enquiries).
